Guarantee offered to O2 broadband subscribers
June 12, 2008
Communications giant O2 has recently launched its broadband service, and is offering a choice pf broadband packages along with an impressive guarantee to ensure that the service is suited to the customer. Over the past couple of weeks there has been speculation over the packages and prices that O2 will be offering, but the company recently confirmed its packages. Customers will also be offered a one hundred day guarantee to customers that sign up for the service before the end of January next year so that if the service or package is not suitable they can break the contract without penalty.
A number of packages are being offered by O2 to suit a range of different needs and pockets. This includes up to 20MB at £15 per month; up to 16MB at £10 per month; and up to 8MB at £7.50 per month. The service, like many others, is described as unlimited but this is subject to fair use policies.
Consumers will be able to select the package that best suits their needs in terms of speed, capability, and price, and are able to sign up to a twelve month contract with the one hundred day guarantee to pull out if the package is not suitable.
Customers that sign up to the O2 broadband deal will also enjoy a number of other benefits. This includes the option to have a static IP address for £5 per month, a wireless router, free connection until January 2008, the one hundred day guarantee, unlimited service subject to fair use policies, and McAffee Security licences. O2 has high hopes when it comes to the popularity of its broadband service, and is hoping to build up an impressive customer base within a relatively short period.
